Welcome to the Ahti Dogwear online store! By making a purchase in our webshop, you agree to these terms of use. If any of the terms raise concerns, please contact us before placing your order.

🐾 Use of Service

Our online store is intended for adult private individuals and businesses within Finland. Our products are not meant for resale without a separate agreement.

The content of our website – including images, texts, logos, product information, and even sounds – is protected by copyright. Copying, modifying, publishing, or commercially using any of this content without written permission is prohibited.


🐾 Privacy

Your personal information is safe, just like a dog guarding its favorite toy from strangers. We process your data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • We use your information to process orders, provide customer service, and improve our website.

  • We do not share, sell, or rent your data to third parties without a legal basis.

This privacy policy applies only to the processing of personal data by Ahti Dogwear. It does not cover third-party privacy practices, and Ahti Dogwear is not responsible for the actions of third parties, even if our website contains links to their services.


🐾 Storage of Order Information & Contract Archiving

Customer information provided during the order process is stored securely for order processing, customer service, and, if necessary, resolving errors.

We retain order information in accordance with the Accounting Act and other applicable laws, but we do not use it for marketing without your consent – unless you have explicitly given us permission.

If you would like a copy of your order afterward or want to check what information we have about you, simply contact our customer service at: ahti@ahtidogwear.fi.

You can request the deletion of your data at any time in the manner described in our Privacy Policy.


🐾 Ordering and Payment

Products are ordered by adding them to your shopping cart and completing the payment at checkout. We encourage you to check your order details (e.g., size, color, quantity, and contact information) before paying.

  • An order confirmation will be sent by email – the contract is formed once the confirmation has been received.

  • If you don't receive a confirmation, please check your spam folder or contact us.

  • Sometimes the head of inventory gets distracted by a snack break at a crucial moment, and the product stock disappears from the screen like a wet dog after a bath. And hey, we understand – even the best counting can be halted by a chicken fillet. If the stock doesn't match and your order can't be confirmed as a result, we will notify you as soon as our snout is back on the number line.


🐾 Prices and Shipping Costs

  • All prices are listed in euros and include value-added tax (VAT).

  • Shipping costs are determined by the weight of the product and the chosen delivery method, and they are displayed at checkout before payment.

  • Ahti Dogwear reserves the right to change prices, shipping costs, and payment terms.

  • Sometimes a paw slips on the keys. We reserve the right to cancel an order if the price shown on the website is clearly incorrect – for example, if a product is accidentally listed as €0.00.


🐾 Delivery and Shipping Options

We deliver your order using the shipping method you choose. Your order will be dispatched as soon as possible, usually within 1–2 business days.

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (force majeure).


Delivery options:
Posti – pick-up from a post office or parcel locker

  • Posti holds packages for pick-up from lockers and service points for 7 days. (Always check Posti's website for the most up-to-date information.)

  • Parcel locker delivery requires a phone number for the SMS code.

  • We are not responsible for Posti's delivery disruptions or changes in storage periods.

  • All our products are shipped via Posti, and shipping costs are determined according to Posti's current pricing.

For example, one bath towel fits into a Posti S-size package, which currently costs €8.90 for locker delivery. If the price in our webshop differs from Posti's up-to-date rates, Posti's official price list always applies.
The exact shipping cost is always shown at checkout according to your chosen delivery method, based on the size of the package setting off on its journey.


🐾 Deliveries to Åland

Åland follows its own path outside the EU VAT area, so shipments require separate customs clearance. We want to make sure your package reaches its destination without bureaucratic hurdles – so if you wish to order to Åland, please contact us directly by email: ahti@ahtidogwear.fi. We'll arrange the delivery paw by paw, so everything goes smoothly!


🐾 Deliveries Outside Finland

If you would like to order Ahti Dogwear products outside of Finland, please contact us first by email: ahti@ahtidogwear.fi. This way we can ensure the delivery method, any customs clearance, and shipping costs are all in order – paw by paw, carefully and smoothly.

Please note that for shipments outside Finland:

  • Shipping costs and delivery times may differ from domestic deliveries.

  • For countries outside the EU, packages may be subject to customs duties and other local taxes, which are paid by the recipient.

  • We cannot guarantee Posti delivery in all countries, so the delivery method and any restrictions are always arranged separately.

We are happy to take care of everything so that your package reaches its destination safely and the journey is smooth – just like on a forest path, where every paw finds its place.


🐾 Checking Your Shipment

Please check your shipment as soon as you receive it. If a product is damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, please notify us within 14 days.

🐾 Payment Methods

At Ahti Dogwear, you can pay either by online invoice or using the payment methods provided by Klarna. When choosing Klarna, you also agree to Klarna's own terms and conditions – that's when the bigger dog steps onto the field.

In all cases, the products and shipping costs must be paid before your package sets off on its journey to you. This way, deliveries run smoothly and reach you without any unnecessary bumps along the way.


🐾 Right of Return

Sometimes the color isn't quite right, the size feels off, or your needs change – and that's completely human.

At Ahti Dogwear, we want every product to find a home where it truly belongs. That's why you can return an unused, resalable product within 14 days of receiving your order.


The item to be returned must be:

  • Unused, clean, and in resalable condition

  • In its original tags and packaging

  • All parts included

Fill out the Return Form and follow the instructions provided. Return the item promptly after submitting your cancellation notice.


Before you click "Order" – a little moment of thought

We pack each order with love, but sending packages back and forth puts a strain on both the climate and this small business. That's why we hope orders are made thoughtfully – better to ask first than return later.

We believe in smart consumption: asking, measuring thoughtfully, and choosing what really works. We're here to help, not just making products but also answering your questions. So feel free to ask about sizing, materials, or what Tarmo is particularly proud of this week.

Sometimes things don't work out – and that's okay. Returns are possible, but a handling fee (i.e., shipping costs) will be deducted. 

Together, paw by paw, toward a more sustainable everyday life.


🐾 Condition of Returned Items – a sniff before departure

For a product to make its way back to us with a clear conscience, it must be unused and in its original condition – like a brand-new bone that hasn't even been buried in the backyard yet.

If the product has been used to the point that it can no longer be resold, we will assess its depreciation. We reserve the right to deduct from the refund an amount corresponding to the item's loss of value from wear and tear.

  • If the product is so worn that it cannot be resold, the customer is responsible for the full value.

  • If you would like the product returned to you, we will happily send it back – you'll just be responsible for the shipping costs.


🐾 Product Exchange

If the product you chose doesn't fit quite like nose to snout – no worries!

Orders from the webshop cannot be directly exchanged for another product, but you can paw your way back to us with a new order anytime.

Return the original product to us, then place a new order for the item you want – we'll take care of the rest.

Please make sure to request a receipt from the post office for the return shipment and keep it for at least three months. Without this receipt, we cannot be responsible for any items that go missing during the return process.


🐾 Refunds

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method you used, no later than 14 days after we have received your return notification and the product.

We reserve the right to delay the refund until the returned product has been received.


🐾 Shipments Damaged During Transport

If your package or product is damaged during transport, please report the damage immediately at the pickup point and contact our customer service.


🐾 Complaints

If something goes awry with your delivery – like the wrong product sneaking its way into the package or an item arriving damaged – please let us know immediately! Our warehouse pup sometimes gets a little too excited with the boxes and might send the wrong toy to the wrong address, but we promise to sort things out quickly and paw-first!

🐾 Changes to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify the content of our webshop, services, prices, and these terms without separate notice. Please check the terms before placing your order.

🐾 Limitation of Liability

We do our best, but we are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Use of our products is always at the customer's own risk.

🐾 Dispute Resolution

All matters related to our webshop and these terms are governed by Finnish law. If any bumps appear along the way, Finnish law will apply in the event of disputes.

🐾 Language of the Agreement

These terms are provided in both Finnish and English. However, only the Finnish version is legally binding.
